WMC calls on CSOs

IMPHAL, Jul 19: WMC has reiterated its call for a closed-door meeting of all civil society organisations.
In a statement, the WMC said the closed-door meeting of the CSOs has been proposed to discuss the issues facing Manipur, its future and course of actions needed to resolve the issues and protect the State's integrity.
It also called on the people to understand the situation the State is embroiled in, and limit their indulgence in extravagant festivities until Manipur returns to peace.
"The future of the people of Manipur will become dark if the Chief Minister leads the public with myopic mindset," WMC added.
