Students protest NEET paper leak

IMPHAL, Jul 25: Five student bodies, AMSU, DESAM, KSA, SUK and AIMS, joined the Nation-wide protest against NEET paper leak and condemned brutal crackdown on pro-testers in Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
The protest demonstration here at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai community hall demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who submitted a resignation letter to Prime Modi today.
The Minister's resignation came amid escalating protests under the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP).
During the protest demonstration here, the 5 student bodies' spokesperson, Oinam Romesh said they condemn the use of excessive force against student protesters at Jantar Mantar.
Romesh said the persons involved in the NEET paper leak must be awarded exemplary punishment to deter such incidents in the future and the Union Minister must take moral responsibility.
The Government must take strict measures to protect the future of the students, he added.
Meanwhile, the Manipur State Council, All India Students' Federation (MSC, AISF) said it fully endorsed the Jantar Mantar protests against NEET paper leak, and vehemently condemned the brutal crackdown on student protesters.
