Sanamani Yambem no more

IMPHAL, Jul 25: Sanamani Singh Yambem, reportedly the first Manipuri to join the reserve Bank of India as an officer, passed away early this morning. He was 77.
Sanamani hailed from Uripok Yambem Leikai, Imphal.
He was educated at St Joseph's School, North Point, Darjeeling (1966 batch) and completed Master's degree in History from Ramjas College, Delhi University.
He obtained his MPhil from JNU's School of International Studies.
