Arms recovered from Lamdan, Geljang

IMPHAL, Jul 27
Security forces recovered an assortment of arms and ammunition including a country made sniper rifle from an area between the northern side of Lamdan and Geljang under Loktak police station, Bishnupur, today.
According to police, the recovered items include  one AK 47 rifle with two magazines, one double barrel gun, one sniper rifle (country made), one 9 mm pistol with magazine, two country made 9mm pistols with magazines, one 51 HE mortar shell, two 36 HE hand grenades, one hand grenade with tube launcher, anti riot grenades, magazines and rounds of ammunition of different calibres.
