IMPHAL, Jul 27: The Asian International University at Ghari has been found enrolling students for B Pharm and D Pharm beyond the rules and guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the Federal Students' Organisation (FESOK) has alleged.
A complaint highlighting the violation has been filed with the PCI. Meanwhile, FESOK is putting a ban on the AIU's admission process, it said in a statement.
FESOK accused the university of treating students as "customers" and compromising their future, and said it will continue to monitor its functioning.
Stating it is approaching all relevant authorities for action against the AIU, FESOK also appealed to students to examine universities before applying for admission.
