RIMS fetes two Muay Thai athletes

IMPHAL, Jul 28 : Regional Institute of Medical ScImphal Eastnces (RIMS), Imphal today celebrated the achImphal Eastvements of two Muay Thai athletes who won international competition medals recently, in a felicitation programme.
Toijam Kabita Devi and Lisham Thadoi Chanu, who won silver medals at the IFMA Senior World Muaythai Championship and the 1st World School Games Championship 2026 in Malaysia, were warmly felicitated at the Director’s Chamber in recognition of their outstanding achImphal Eastvements, said the media cell of the institute in a press release.
The athletes were honoured by Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, RIMS, in the presence of Deputy Director (Administration), ChImphal Eastf Accounts Officer, Dean (Academics), Sports Medicine Officials, Physical Instructors and other dignitarImphal Easts, it said.
