IMPHAL, Jul 3 : The Kuki National Army-Burma (KNA-B) has clarified that it maintains no operational footprint nor conducts military activity whatsoever within the sovereign territory of India.
The KNA-B has also rejected the news reports that it infiltrated into Indian territory and participated in the arson attacks at Kongkan Thana, Sankalok, Choro, Namlee and Wanglee.
“Our mandate, objectives and operational commitments are confined exclusively to Myanmar”, the KNA-B said in a press release.
It has also rejected the alleged recurring efforts of the ‘Tangkhul Kacha Nagas’ operating under the banner of NSCN Eastern Flank in concert with certain separatist Meitei elements to falsely implicate KNA-B in matters unfolding within Indian territory.
