MPCC accuses

IMPHAL, Jul 3 :The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has accused the BJP-led Government of undermining the democratic ethos of the country and compromising the integrity of the education sector.
Addressing the media at Kshetri Bengoon today, former MLA Amin Shah stated that question paper leaks in competitive examinations have become a recurring phenomenon during the BJP regime.
He added that such incidents have severely affected students and eroded public confidence in the education sector.
Education system has become increasingly corrupt under the BJP government, he further alleged.
Claiming that the country's economy has also weakened during the BJP's tenure, he added that the public would continue to face hardships if the party remains in power.
He further alleged that the BJP Government has been consistently attacking the country's democratic framework.
Accusing the Government of engaging in divisive politics, the Congress leader appealed to the public to give the BJP a befitting reply through a democratic process.
MPCC general secretaries Advocate Rabi Khan and Seram Neken also attended the press briefing.
