JNMDA unit celebrates golden jubilee

IMPHAL, Jul 4: Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA), Imphal’s production unit celebrated its golden jubilee at its auditorium here today.
Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla who is the Chairman of JNMDA, Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi Chairman Dr Sandhya Purecha, Sangeet Natak Academy Secretary B Raju Das and IG AR (S) Maj Gen Gaurav Sharma graced the function as chief guest, guest of honour and special invitees respectively. Gurus and senior teachers of the academy were felicitated at the function. The main features of the golden jubilee celebration were cultural dance and music programmes presented by students of the academy. Notably, JNMDA, Imphal is a unit of Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.
