Arms, ammunition recovered

Security forces seized a variety of arms and ammunition from Chandel and Thoubal, today.
According to police, nine single bore rifles, two 9mm pistols with magazines, two improvised mortars, one stick hand grenade and 94 rounds of ammunition of different calibers were recovered from Mombi Village under Molcham police station in Chandel district.
Similarly, security forces recovered two Beretta pistols with magazines, two .32 pistols with magazines, two single barrel guns, 12 grenades, seven magazines of different arms and 1242 rounds of ammunition of different calibers from Salungpham Uyok Ching under Heingang police station in Thoubal district.
