Junior Boys’ State Kabaddi C’ship : VETO, SAM, AMDASCAM and SLYO in semis

IMPHAL, Jul 4 : The semi-final line up of the 52nd Junior Boys’ State Kabaddi Championship hosted by SLYO, Tekcham was completed today.
VETO, Laphupat Tera will play SAM, Kumbi in the first semi-final match tomorrow before AMDASCAM play hosts SLYO in the second semi-final match.
Pool A winners VETO reached the semi-finals with a 45-15 thrashing of Pool D runners up CCYPAC, Lilong today in the first quarterfinal before Pool C winners SAM got the better of Pool B runners up YGC 36-18 in the second quarterfinal match.
Pool B winners AMDASCAM then outlasted Pool C runners up ALUC, Khurai by 42-36 points in the third quarterfinal match before Pool D winners NAYA sent down 33-36 to Pool A runners up SLYO in the last quarterfinal match.
Earlier in the day, AMDASCAM topped Pool B beat defeating SNG, Ngairangbam 40-22 as YGC beat SNG 60-40 in another Pool B match.
In Pool C matches, SAM beat ICDF 42-33 while ALUC beat ICDF 34-26. In a Pool A match, SLYO beat WSWC 42-12. In the Pool D matches, CCYPAC beat YSC 47-36 before NAYA beat NYDA 42-28 and CCYPAC 50-22 to top the pool.
