1st MNCA Women’s U19 T20 Trophy AKSDO storm into final with 9-wicket thrashing of PCC

IMPHAL, Jul 7 : AKSDO, Khangabok are into the final of the 1st MNCA Women’s U19 T20 Trophy 2025-26 as they notched up a commanding 9-wicket semi-final victory over PCC, Mayaikoibi today at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
PCC opted to bat first but could muster only 43 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and AKSDO eased to the target in just 9.3 overs at the cost of only one wicket.
Hemam Lingjen anchored with a painstakingly slow but the highest 56-ball 25 in the first innings also that saw four batters depart on ducks.
Khundrakpam Lucyrani was the pick of the AKSDO bowlers claiming 2 wickets for 9 runs in her spell of 4 overs as Khundrakpam Rabina (1/9 in 4 overs), Laishram Linthoi Chanu (1/2 in 3 overs) and Thokchom Alish (1/13 in 4 overs) chipped in a wicket apiece while maintaining perfect economies.
Chasing the lowly total, AKSDO lost Khundrakpam  Bijiya on a 28-ball 13 to Puyam Kebisana (1/10 in 3 overs) before Ningthoujam Tanjiya (22 not out off 17 balls; 3 fours) and Laishram Kalpana (8 off 12 balls) added an unbeaten 24 off 24 balls for the second wicket to steer the team to the target in 9.3 overs.
Laishram Linthoi was adjudged player of the match.
