IMPHAL, Oct 22 : Having enjoyed dominating first leg wins, KRYPHSA, Naoremthong and ESU, Wangkhei stamped their authority winning second leg matches respectively against YWC, Langthabal and MPSC today in the 10th AMFA Senior Women's Football League for BM Singh Trophy at Artificial Football Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak Imphal.
KRYPHSA which overwhelmed YWC 5-1 in the first leg improved further to seal a 6-1 win in the second leg today for a 11-2 aggregate finish. And as usual Ratanbala led the scoring with 3 goals in her name while S Ranjana, Roja and Dangmei grace also asserted their presence by scoring a goal each.
KRYPHSA took off the game on a flying note and sealed a 5-0 lead in the first half itself making the YWC chase impossible. S Ranjana opened up the account early in the 4th minute while A Roja doubled their advantage in the 11th minute before N Ratanbala netted two goals on trot in the 21st and the 34th minute.
Dangmei Grace did the hard work during the additional time of the first half and helped KRYPHSA led the first half 5-0 as YWC hardly looked in contest.
Ratanbala completed her treble in the 62nd minute to make it 6-0 as YWC defence were left in tatter after the restart as well. YWC however managed to tighten up their fort after conceding the 6th goal and worked together to earn a face saving goal. They almost ended up with a blank but S Rinaroy made her effort count two minutes from time to make it 1-6 at the end.
Meanwhile in another clash, ESU which downed MPSC 3-1 in the previous tie, faced stiff opposition from the latter team but a late 73rd minute goal by Sultana helped them earn a 1-0 win.
