Awareness programme held

Thoubal, Oct 22: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Thoubal - Department of Agriculture Manipur organised "Webcasting of Fertilizer Application Awareness Programme" at  KVK Thoubal Hall today.
Wangbal GP Pradhan H Manichandra, RSS Wangbal Rice Breeder Kh Ngamreishang, Agri DAO Thoubal EO Th Tomba and Plant Protection KVK Thoubal Subject Matter Specialist Dr M Thoithoi attended the event as presidium members.
Webcast of 'awareness on fertilizer' organised at National Agricultural Science Centre, Delhi was shown to farmers at the event.
KVK Thoubal Farm Manager Dr W Jiten talked on "Importance of soil health improvement & crop nutrition". KVK Thoubal SMS (Agronomy) N Tomba  spoke on "Integrated Nutrient Management & Balanced Fertilizer  application to increase efficiency of Nutrient".
DAO Thoubal EO Agriculture Th Tomba talked about "Benefit from the inclusion of pulses in cropping system" while Plant Protection KVK Thoubal Subject Matter Specialist Dr M Thoithoi talked on "How to use bio fertilizer effectively and make high quality compost get more Profit".
Farmers of Kakching and Thoubal district attended the event.
