IMPHAL, Oct 27: The Thadou Inpi-General Headquarters has submitted a memorandum to the Interlocutor of the Indo--Kuki political talks involving the Central Government, State Government, United People's Front (UPF) and Kuki National Organisation (KNO), AB Mathur, seeking to expedite a solution to the said dialogue at the earliest.
The memo conveyed that ever since the inking of the ceasefire with the Central Government, the Suspension of Operation (SoO) on August 1, 2005,  there has been considerable improvement in the law and order situation in the State.
It continued that the ethics of SoO is honoured effectively by both the two Kuki UG groups in their respective designated locations and the Government forces till date and added that however, it is disheartening to see the Government lacking sincerity in solving the issue as even after 14 years under the ceasefire enforcement, both parties have failed to reach a final solution.
As such, it appealed to the Interlocutor to expedite the peace process for finding a solution at the earliest, explaining that the statu-quo of the Kuki ancestral land will be greatly disturbed if the proposed political arrangements of the Nagas culminate.
It also urged the Central Government not to sideline the interests of other communities while trying to solve the problems of a certain section and added that the Centre should not overlook the scene of ethnic polarity in every hill districts of Manipur.
Solution without considering the ground reality will breed enmity among the people, it reasoned.
