KSO Sadar Hills appreciates DC Kpi

KANGPOKPI, Oct 28: The Kuki Students Organization Sadar Hills appreciated the concerned of District Administration Kangpokpi over the natural disaster caused by the recent flash flood owing to incessant rainfall in the district for the past few days.
It may be mentioned that, the incessant rainfall in the district caused flash flood in various places while T Waichong Sub Division was affected severely by the flash flood destroying vast areas of paddy field in Wakotphai and Haimol village and its adjoining areas.
Considering the plights of the affected victims, Deputy Commissioner Kangpokpi, Lalithambigai Kalidas immediately swung into action and personally visited the affected areas in T Waichong Sub Division on the national holiday.
KSO Sadar Hills president, Thangminlen Kipgen while extending gratefulness to Deputy Commissioner and her team including SDPO Kangpokpi for their visit to the affected sites of the recent flash flood at K Haimol and Wakotphai villages, highly appreciated the IAS officer stating that she took her time out of a National holiday to extend her solidarity to the victims of the recent calamity.
The student body also wished the district administration Kangpokpi under the leadership of Lalithambigai Kalidas, DC Kangpokpi in its future endeavours in serving the people of Kangpokpi.
