5th A Iboton Memorial U15 Boys football KYVO brush aside UYDC 5-1 to keep final hope alive

IMPHAL, Nov 11 : KYVO, Kwasiphai thrashed UYDC, Upokpi by 5-1 goals to remain in hunt for the final berth from Group A at the 5th A Iboton Memorial U-15 Boys Football League-2019 which is underway at Mini Stadium Bishnupur.
A Avinash and T Bikash shone with two goals each in this one sided match as KYVO made a blistering start and led the first half 3-0.
A Avinash got into business early on and fired home the opener in the 5th minute before N Edison grabbed another in the 12th minute of the match. Hapless UYDC had to see their misery being piled up with A Avinash completing his double in the 20th minute and handed KYVO a 3-0 lead in the first half. After the break, KYVO picked up the game from where they left and it was T Bikash who carried forward the goal fest scoring the team's fourth in the 38th minute. UYDC which were struggling from the beginning made a short return as Pravin scored the only goal for the Upokpi side in the 40th minute before T Bikash rose again and rounded off the scoring in the 47th  minute of the match.
With today's win, KYVO were able to amass 6 points in three matches having won their opening match against RAFA, Thinungei 1-0.
Another contender for final berth, KYSCKL, Kha Jiri will be meeting UYDC in the last and crucial Group A league match tomorrow. KYSCKL have managed 4 points from 2 matches so far in the Group A competition (1 win and 1 draw).
