AMCTA announces

IMPHAL, Nov 20 : The All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) has announced that looking after the present situation of the State as well as in the interest of academic atmosphere as the BA, BSc, BCom semester examination will start from November 28, it has decided to maintain a healthy academic atmosphere in colleges under the banner of AMCTA.
A statement issued by AMCTA mentioned that it is closely studying the prevailing situation of the State as well as the region with regards to its demand for implementation of 7th UGC Pay and observed that stern steps should not be taken up by teachers hastily as the time is not right.
It further appealed to all the college teachers under the banner of AMCTA to maintain its solidarity by keeping a healthy academic atmosphere in the college campuses in the larger interest of the students' careers.
