Biswajit condoles

IMPHAL, Nov 20 : Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh has condoled the sudden and untimely demise of former Minister and ex MLA of Thanga AC, Salam Ibohal Singh yesterday.
In his message, the Minister said that Salam Ibohal was elected to the Manipur Legislative Assembly for the first time in 1980 and became Minister of Power and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj in 1990.
S Ibohal was a student leader, social activist and a great orator, Biswajit said conveying that his contribution to the society will be remembered for long.
The Minister also said that his demise has left a great void and his absence will be felt in the days to come.
May his soul to rest in peace, the Minister prayed.
