U-17 Khelo India Women's Football League: ICSA post 4-2 win to extend winning run

Nov 23 : L Shelia netted a treble to earn ICSA, Irengbam a 4-2 win against WFA, Kakching at the U-17 Khelo India Women's League 2019 being organised by All Manipur Football Association  in association with YAS Directorate under the supervision of All India Football Federation.
ICSA which made a brilliant start to the tournament by thrashing KRYPHSA 4-0,  faced some resistance from WFA and to their surprise, Bhumika helped the latter team find the breakthough in the 11th minute. ICSA however responded quickly and Shelia brought the score at level term within two minutes. It was an end to end affair after the equaliser before the two team headed into the break with the score lock at 1-1.
After the changeover, ICSA overturned the lead as Shelia was on target yet again in the 31st minute but Julisha come to WFA's rescue by restoring parity again in the 36th minute with a clinical finish. As the game wore on ICSA looked to take over the possession and regained the lead when O Babita who was lurking around the WFA's box dodged past few defender to make her way in and slammed home a powerful shot in the 47th minute. L  Shelia then took honour to fire home her third goal lately in the 57th minute and rounded off the game 4-2 in ICSA's favour.
In a match held earlier, KRYPHSA, Naoremthong were able to win 1-0 over AMMA, Andro thanks to M Sanjana's late 70th minute strike.
