Indo-Myanmar border liaison officers meeting held at ICP, Moreh

Tengnoupal, Nov 4: The 12th Indo-Myanmar border Liaison officer meeting, hosted by India, was held at the conference hall of Integrated Check Post (ICP), border town Moreh today.
It has been reported that due to restriction in the entry of media person in the meeting, the details of the meeting could not be accessed.
However, as per a reliable source, the meeting deliberated on the agenda of forest products imported from Myanmar, Drugs (Heroin no 4, brown sugar, WY tables, Ice meth crystal) smuggled from Myanmar, opening of border haat at new Samtal village,  incident of dismantling of saw mill of Haolenphai village and confiscated by Myanmar army.
In the meeting, the Indian side was represented by DC Tengnoupal H Rupachandra, Chairman Border Liaison Office, SP Tengnoupal, SP NAB, ADC Moreh, officers of 26 sector AR pallel, 43 AR, 12 AR,  Land Custom, SP CPF, officials of Forest Dept while the Myanmar side was represented by 11 key officials including Pol Lt Col Lin Lin Naing, Commander Police Command, Tamu district, U Nyein Tun Kyaw, General Administration Dept, Tamu district.
