Prize distribution ceremony of 43rd Kha Manipur Drama Festival 2019 held

Kakching, Nov 8: Prize distribution ceremony to the winners of 43rd Kha Manipur Drama Festival 2019 jointly organized by Langmeidong Dramatic Union (LDU) in association with Manipur State Kala Academy, Imphal was held at the hall of Langmeidong Dramatic Union today.
Drama 'Lampi' produced by Liberty Theatre Kakching bagged the best production award in the Drama festival which saw participation from 14 different drama  association while the second prize went to drama "Kanagidamak" produced by Yumjao Dramatic and Cultural Union, Khagem Palli Huidrom Leikai.
Awards for best director, best script writer, 2nd best actor, best actress, best stage management, best light, best music, best costume and best make-up went to Liberty Theatre Kakching for the play "Lampi" while the awards for 2nd best director, 2nd best script writer, best actor, 2nd best actress and 2nd best child artist went to Yumjao Lairembi Dramatic and Cultural Union, Khagem Palli.
Best supporting actress award was won by the artist of Kanglei Living Arts, Uchiwa; best comedian was bagged by Pakhangba Theatre Ngairangbam while best child artist went to Bashikhong Dramatic Union and best discipline award was received by Kanglei Living Arts, Uchiwa.
The ceremonial function was attended by MLA Kakching AC, Y Surchandra; Chairman of MANIDCO & MANITRON, GoM MLA Hiyanglam AC, Y Radheshyam; Secy Manipur State Kala Academy, L Kishorjit and Chairman Langmeidong Dramatic Union, Th Ngouba as presidium members.
