Chakpi United Cup; Chakpikarong Youth Club, Kh Khunou and Anal AR FC progress

IMPHAL, Dec 10 : Chakpikarong Youth Club; Kh Khunou, Novokom-B and Anal Assam Rifles FC won in their respective Pool matches to advance into the second round of the Chakpi United Cup-2019 being organised by Chakpi United Committee at Chakpikarong Public Ground.
In a Pool a encounter of the day, Chakpikarong YC made it to the second round with a 2-1 comeback win against New United Cup.
Ningphangam scored two goals back to back in the 23rd and the 33rd minute to hand Chakpikarong YC the 2-1 win after his team trailed 1-0 in the first half as Micah had given New United Club the lead off a goal during the additional time of the first half (20+3').
Meanwhile in the first Pool B clash, Nepolian ran riot in the second half and scored 4 goals (31', 37;, 57', 62') to give Kh Khunou B a huge 6-0 win over Dangkhu FC. The other two goals for the winning team comes from the feet of Peter (41') and Kakai (43').
In another Pool B fixture, Kishan scored a brace (5', 13') to earn Anal AR FC a 2-1 win over Sajik Tampak FC. The lone goal of the Sajik Tampak FC was scored by Benzema in the 23rd minute of the match.
