Wanted Boys, SMSFC win in 2nd Kayamuddin Trophy

IMPHAL, Dec 10 : Wanted Boys, SMSFC emerged victorious in today's league matches of the 2nd Kayamuddin Trophy being organised by Wanted Boys at Kayamuddin Ground.
In the Group B league match of the day, Wanted Boys which were held to a 1-1 draw by MCA in the first match, won 2-0 over Phundrei FC riding on goals by Arwas (5') and Rahaman (32').
Meanwhile in a Group C league match, SMSFC, Sangaiyumpham cruised to their second win by defeating UYFC, Sangaiyumpham Nungphou 4-2.
The two side had a competitive start as Zahir Khan opened up the account for SMSFC in the 6th minute of the match before UYFC fought back and draw level in the 15th minute. SMSFC regained the lead within a short span as Danish scored in the 17th minute and made it 2-1 till the break.
Md Arish set the recovery path for UYFC by scoring the equaliser in the 29th minute but SMSFC were too not in the mood to lose ground and it was reflected the very next minute with Abrar breaking the deadlock before rounding off the scoring the following minute.
Salima FC will meet SIMFA in a Group D league match tomorrow at 1 pm before SFC take on LYDO in the Group A league match at 2 pm.
