Pu Demkhosiek Memorial Volleyball; YPA, RC ease to second group stage victories

IMPHAL, Dec 10 : YPA, Hiyanglam Hiranmei and Rising Club, Churachandpur sealed their respective second wins beating their respective rivals in today's league matches of the 1st Pu Demkhosiek Memorial Men's Open Volleyball Tournament which is being underway in Churachandpur.
YPA which downed HYDCCL in their opening Pool A fixture, registered their second win by beating KVA, Kangpokpi in straight sets today (25-11, 25-12). Meanwhile in a Group D fixture, RC earned a 25-21, 25-18 against TAYC to extended their winning run at the 18 team tournament.
In the group B league matches staged today, United Kuki Sporting Club (UKSC), Churachandpur overcame Shining Star Club (SSC), Churachandpur 25-20, 25-21; MTVT defeated Smash Brothers (SB), Churachandpur (25-15, 25-13) in a lopsided game and YMDO, Heirangoithong thrashed SB 25-14, 25-10.
Meanwhile in other Pool-D league matches, TKUVC, Teikhang held off Host team 25-11, 25-15 and KYLSC, Kachikhul overwhelmed TAYC, Tuibong 25-7, 25-10.
Pool-A match between HYDCCL and 25 AR and Pool-B match between SSC and SB were postponed due to some inconveniences.
