Audition for Orange Queen on

TAMENGLONG/IMPHAL, Dec 3: Altogether 18 beauties were selected at the audition at Sangai Hall, Hotel Imphal today for the 16th State Level Orange Queen contest.
Altogether 21 contestants auditioned today for the pageant which will be held as part of the 16th State level Orange Festival cum Centennial's Celebration at Tamenglong District Headquarters from December 16 to 18.
This year, Orange Queen will be choreographed and managed by the Blue Wings. Those contestants who missed the screening at Imphal can audition at the Amphitheatre, DC Bungalow, Tamenglong DHQs on December 7, said organisers.
Screening for the Orange Queen contestants were also conducted at Nagaland and New Delhi. The pageant's theme this year is "Beauty with Purpose".
Shelina Saikhom, Orange Queen 2018, Sangeeta Thiyam, Orange Queen 2017, Raina Sharma Laimayum, Miss Manipur 2018 and Rosia Naorem, BUKKM Literature Face of the Year 2019 were jury members of the audition today. Namlalung Gangmei, SDO Noney also attended the event.
Tamenglong district administration will be celebrating the 16th State level Orange festival cum Centennial's celebration at Tamenglong District Headquarters under the theme "Tamenglong Oranges The Centennial's Pride" from 16th-18th December 2019.
