IMPHAL, May 12: A woman was grievously wounded after getting stabbed by her husband at Moreh at around 4 pm today. According to a reliable source, the woman has been identified as one Akuppi Bibi (35) of Moreh Ward No 5 while her husband has been identified as Md Rafi. Explaining that the incident occurred following a heated argument between the husband and wife, the source informed that Bibi was immediately rushed to Moreh Hospital but as her condition was serious, she had to be taken to Imphal for treatment. She was stabbed on the right side of her abdomen, the source said, adding that Md Rafi has been arrested by Moreh police and a case has been registered as well.
