AMYC, PRSC win in 2nd IE Men's Volleyball tourney

IMPHAL, May 21: AMYC, Andro Machengpat and PRSC, Pourabi extend their winning runs at the ongoing 2nd Imphal East District Men's Volleyball Tournament, 2019 organised by Pourabi Rising Star Club under the aegis of Imphal East District Volleyball Association at its court today.
In the Group A league match, AMYC which defeated NNCK, Nongren by 3-1 sets in the tournament opener displayed a more improved side today to hammer RYC, Keibi in straight sets (25-18, 25-17, 25-14).
Meanwhile, PRSC, Pourabi pulled off a 3-1 sets win against MTT, Andro in a Group B league match. MTT, Andro showed some resilience in the first two sets and even took the second sets into their account but PRSC surge ahead in the remaining sets to wrapped up the game 27-25, 21-25, 25-11, 25-19 to ensure their semi-final berth.
Tomorrow: NNCK vs 7 Star and SWECA vs MYDC.
