RFC in 8th ESO Soccer final

IMPHAL, May 21 : RFC, Khamnam Leirak secured their place in the final of the 8th ESO Football Tournament organised by Educational Social Organising Club, Bamdiar Makha Leikai at its ground today after thumping ESO-A by 2-0 margin in the first semi-final clash.
The first half came ended goalless as neither side could find the net despite handful of opportunities they got but RFC shifted gears in the second half and broke the deadlock through Kishan in the 43rd minute after few unsuccessful attempts. RFC converted yet another chance two minutes latter, this time by Dhananjoy and defended their lead till the final whistle to finish the game 2-0.
A2 Patsoi will take on LASHAL, Leimapokpam for the remaining final slot tomorrow at 3 pm.
