2nd Divn League Final Round TRAU FC look for clean sweep as they host Chhinga Veng FC

IMPHAL, May 24 : After winning 5 games of the Final Round of the Second Division League on the trot, champions in waiting, TRAU FC aim for a clean sweep when they host Chhinga Veng FC in the last game tomorrow (May 25) at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
In a presser held ahead of the game today at Khuman Lampak, CEO of TRAU FC, T Phulen expressed confident that the home team will definitely finish the second unbeaten although the team will miss its striker Joseph Mayowa.
When asked about the preparation for the venture in the higher division as TRAU have already top the Second Division League, he informed that the team is looking forward to add more foreign players to bolster its performance in the upcoming season.
Regarding the sponsorship matter, Phulen expressed gratitude to the present sponsors namely HVS; The Sangai Express; Pro-Active, Kwakeithel; Comet School etc for their huge contribution and maintained that the team is looking forward for the same in the future as well. He also sought support from public on the occasion and invited for tomorrow's game (free entry). TRAU FC's manager, L Ibomcha also urged all sports lover of the State to come and support the team in the penultimate clash.
Although tomorrow's result will be inconsequential, Chhinga Veng FC will try its best to beat TRAU FC, said the manager of the team, Anand Gurung. Gurung also acknowledged TRAU FC's feat throughout the second round and congratulated the team for making at the top place.
It may be mentioned that TRAU defeated Chhinga Veng FC by 3-1 goals at the latter's home.
