IMPHAL, May 4 : Wushu Association of Manipur (WAM) has released the names of the players recommended for the National Coaching Camp to be held at SAI, Centre Bhopal from May 13 to 16.
The players as mentioned in the press released issued by Technical Director of WAM who is also the joint secretary of Wushu Association of India after thorough verifications by the officials of WAM at Brahmapur Nahabam, Bamon Leikai are:
Children Group
L Nelson Meitei (Changquan, Jianshu, Qiangshu), Ng Kajal Chanu (Changquan, Daoshu and Gunshu), Keya H (Changquan, Jianshu, Qiangshu), Jupiter E (Changquan, Daoshu and Gunshu), O Malemnganbi Devi (Taijiquan, Taijijian) and A William Singh (Taijiquan, Taijijian) all from CWI.
Junior Group
G Devesh Sharma of CWI (Nanquan, Nando and Nangun), O Pakpi of Imphal East (Changquan, Jianshu, Qiangshu), Th Bonish of SAI-COE (Nanquan, Nando and Nangun), W Ningthibi of SAI-COE (Changquan, Jianshu, Qiangshu).
Junior Sanda
M Malemnganba of SAI-COE (65 kg) and T Priyaluxmi Devi of SAI COE (48 kg).

M Bimoljit Singh, Arjuna Awardee will accompany the players and will attend the trial selection as representative of WAM.
Further the statement informed those players who have not reported for verifications may report till May 5 at 4.30 pm at the same venue.
Meanwhile the Association also informed that 19th State Level Wushu Championship will be held at Imphal from May 21 to 24. The statement also continued that 1st National Taichi Championships will be held in the month of October.
