The divorce
Between thought and action!
Ah, there it is!
An eternal gap.
There is no question of
Bridging the gap
No matter how hard one tries.

My wife and I
We celebrated 25 years of marriage in 2015.
And today we are in the year of our Lord 2019.
Does a shape without form
Called love
Loom up ahead of us?
Sorry, the answer’s no.
When I was younger,
I had a dreamy romantic nature.
I thought
I would be romantically involved with somebody
A flesh-and-blood beauty
But that somebody never came
And I had a nasty feeling
I haven’t had much of a love.
I have no time now to ask what love is.
Love is a two-way process
A continual intimacy
Of sacrificing our likes and dislikes.
Love is to love and be loved;
Love is loving.
A complete man does not look for love;
He radiates love
And people are touched.

I the man of my thoughts!
Only my wife can tell
If I am a loving husband;
Only my children can tell
If I am a failure of a father or not.
My inner life, my self-image!
Who am I?
The answer is twofold.
First, I am who I think I am.
Second, a man is always misunderstood.
