Foundation day observed

IMPHAL, Jun 21 : RINDA Publication has observed its 26th foundation day at Manipur Press Club, today.
During the observance, a bilingual journal “The Muse”, edited by Rajen Khumukcham, “Kanglagee Meiree” (Novel), penned by ES Sunder, comedy book of Dr Konsam Suken Singh entitled  “Farak Tounu Tomba” and two other books - “Laioiraba Sanakhongnang” and “Drama Amadi Sumangleela Yenglubadei” by Rajen Khumukcham were released.
Speaking as the chief guest of the event, Art and Culture Minister, L Jayantakumar said that literature is considered mirror of a society by all.
Literature can also make the reader feel what the writer had experienced and be moved or touched by it, the Minister added.
Lack of literature enthusiasts in the State is quite disappointing and worrying, he said appealing youth to inculcate reading habit to improve their knowledge and understanding of the various facets of the society at large.
