Mosquito nets dip in insecticide treated solution

bishnupur, Jun 23: Oinam Municipal Council in association with UPF Bishnupur Dist Committee jointly organized a one-day awareness programme on how to protect from mosquito bite and to stay away from vector-borne diseases  under the aegis of DMO Bishnupur at Oinam Mamang Leikai Community Hall with the objective to have a healthy society.
As part of the programme, mosquito nets were also dipped in insectiside treated solution.
The programme was attended by District Malaria Officer, Bishnupur, Dr Th Nabakeshor; Vice-Chairperson Moirangningthou and Councillor Ward No 4, O Raghu as presidium members.
During the programme, DMO Dr Nabakeshor spoke in detail on how to protect from mosquito bite while about 200 mosquito nets were dipped in insecticide treated solution.
