Road accident data

IMPHAL, Jul 9
The Directorate of Transport has informed that the road accident data for the State during the year 2018 (January-December) is 578 accidents with 130 fatalities and 1027 injuries while the 2017 (January-December) data was 601 accidents with 134 fatalities and 1042 injuries.
A press release issued by Director (Transport) Manipur maintained that the percentage increase in number of road accident is 3.98 % while percentage reduction in number of fatalities is 1.47 % and percentage increase in number of injuries is 1.46 percent.
