AR conducts tree plantation drive

TENGNOUPAL, Jul 15
Moreh Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis IGAR (S) conducted a tree plantation drive at Multi Skill Development Centre (MSDC), Moreh, Tengnoupal district in collaboration with Humanism Foundation today.
A total of nine staff members and 92 students of skill development centre along with troops of Moreh Battalion Assam Rifles carried out plantation of 60 saplings of different varieties.
In continuation to the efforts of Moreh Battalion, this plantation drive was conducted in order to motivate the young students to promote greenery, said a press release issued by IGAR (S).
The staff and students of Multi Skill Development Centre (MSDC) expressed happiness and heartfelt gratitude for conducting this drive and requested for such more events in future, added the statement.
