Guru Purnima observed

Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Yuva Bharat and Kisan Seva Samiti observed Guru Purnima at Youth Hostel, Khuman Lampak today.
A press release issued by Bharat Swabhiman Trust Manipur  stated that the day was celebrated to mark the spiritual tradition-activities and ritualistic event in honour of teacher, i.e. Guru in Hindu philosophy.
During the occasion, floral tributes were paid to the portrait of renown Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev. Guru Purnima is traditionally celebrated by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains across the globe, added the statement.
Speaking at the function, Basudev, chief patron BST spoke on ritualistic event in the honour of Guru.
Ksh Gopendra, Rajya Prabhari BST stressed on the importance of Guru Purnima while Neelima, Rajya Prabhari MPYS and N Haridas, organising secretary BST also delivered speeches.
Chief patron Basudev, Ksh Gopendra, Neelima, Haridas, S Premeshwor, Rajya Prabhari Yuva Bharat and Gyanendro Ningombam, state executive board member attended the function as presidium members.
In a separate event, Bharat Swabhiman Trust and Patanjali Yog Samiti, Imphal West District and Malom Tulihal Awang Leikai Patanjali Yoga Centre observed Guru Purnima at Malom Tulihal Awang community hall today morning. Prabhari, Yoga teachers, Yoga lovers and players of the trust/Samiti of Imphal West paid homage to the photo of Pujya Swami Baba Ramdev.
