Neem cakes distributed to farmers

IMPHAL, Jul 17: Farmers of Uyumpok, Pukhao and Yumnam Khunou in Imphal East district were provided organic input - neem cakes today. The neem cakes were distributed by The Garden Care under Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER).
Neem cake is rich source of nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and sulphur. It is also used as a pest/insect control. MOVCDNER Project Officer Kh Nimai and The garden proprietor A Bhakta attended the distribution function. Resource persons and experts shared several schemes available for farmers welfare at the event.
