Body building team leave Imphal

Imphal, Jul 18: A team of State bodybuilders left Imphal today to attend a trial selection organized by International Natural Body Building Association India on July 19 at Bangalore for INBA Asia Pacific Natural Body Building Championship, 2019 to be held on July 20 at Bangalore, Karnataka, said a statement released by Kh Michael Singh, Publicity Secy, INBA Manipur.
The present team of bodybuilders were selected through a trial selection conducted by INBA Manipur on June 19 at Budhi Manjuri High School, Sagolband Khamnam Leirak, it added.
The team include Th Toni Singh (U-Fitness, Singjamei) and Doublee Wangkhem (KKB Gym, Tera). They will compete in Mens Body Building Junior category.
In Mens Body Building Senior category, Nepram Roshan and Kshetrimayum Arunjit Meitei (Salai Fitness) will try out for their place in the championship.
Thongam Debataji Singh (35-AR Royal Gym) will compete in Mens Body Building Junior Master (35-40 yrs) while Yumnam Tomba Singh (35-AR Royal Gym) will slog it out in Mens Body Building Master (40-50 yrs).
Paonam Romesh Meitei (Pamkhal Gym), Moirangthem Ranjit Meitei (NT Gym, Langthabal) will fight for their place in the championship in Mens Body Building Grand Master category (50+ yrs) while Takhellambam Malemnganba Meitei (Perfect Fitness Centre, Porompat) will compete in Mens Physique.
For Women Body Building, E Kabita Chanu (KBB Gym, Tera) will battle it out to book a place in the championship.
W Ibomcha Singh, president INBA Manipur and RK Rakesh Singh, Joint Secy, INBA Manipur led the team as team manager and team coach respectively.
