SDWA lauds Senapati Police

Senapati, Jul 19:  The Senapati District Women Association (SDWA) in a statement has expressed immense appreciation and acknowledgement to the Law Enforcing Agencies of Senapati District for successfully nabbing a dreaded and wanted rapist Ashin alias Kashin alias Kashinba of Nungtek Karvanmuang Village, Part-2, who was on the run for 2 years after alleged rape and attempt to murder a minor girl on August 1, 2017.
SDWA lauded the efforts of the Senapati police team led by Addl SP (L&O) Luther Nangsha, MPS and SDPO, Mao M L Kaisungbou and also inspector Ch Sarjan Singh, OC, Noney PS for arresting the accused on July 11, 2019 from his native village.
The Senapati District Women Association being the Apex Women Body of the District also earnestly appealed the District Special Court to expedite the trial proceeding of the accused at the earliest and deliver justice to the victim minor girl by awarding befitting punishment as per the law of the land.
The SDWA further appeal to all the Women Organizations and Public not to create any disturbance during the course of hearing and trial of this case.
