Speaking to media persons, Anganwadi workers and helpers asserted that the frequent transfer of CDPO has been hampering the welfare and growth of the projects and workers/helpers.
Frequent transfer of Kakching ICDS CDPO has been hampering the relationship that should be there to operate and run the 495 Anganwadi centres, they said. The current CDPO in-charge Milankumar along with workers and helpers have been taking up various works to grow the project. Sudden transfer of the CDPO will immensely affect the functioning of the project, the workers said during the sit-in.
