Tangkhul magazine 'Tansira' released

Ukhrul, Jul 6 : Executive member, ADC Ukhrul, Wezope A' Lohe launched the first Tangkhul Naga Association (TNFA) filmy magazine, Tansira at TNL hall, Viewland Ukhrul today.
Wezope A Lohe, who attended the event as the chief guest, expressed that the effort of TNFA in producing a journal is a mileage for the Tangkhul film industry.
President of TNFA Chingya Chawung elaborated that the Tansira is an acronym of "Tangkhul and Sira" adding that  the magazine aims to promote Tangkhul artists.
Guest of honour Pamrichan Ragui, who is a former UNICEF coordinator Manipur State, stressed on the development of vernacular dialect films.
Dedication and passion can overcome many difficulties while proper survey of market will improve the said industry.
Film industry can also provide employment who love in acting, Pamrichan Ragui added.
Meanwhile TSL president Veronica Zingkhai, Surender Shishak retired joint Director, Social Welfare Dept and VS Ringlem spoke at the event.
Executive Member, ADC Ukhrul V S Paothing also attended  the launching programme.
