CM condemns

IMPHAL, Jul 6: Chief Minister N Biren Singh has strongly condemned the act of vandalism carried out by some miscreants on the night of July 4 near ISKON temple.
A press release issued by the OSD to the Chief Minister, mentioned that the CM was extremely disappointed on learning that some miscreants attempted to carry out arson near the Holy Rath after the Rath Yatra in the vicinity of ISKON temple and conveyed that Manipur is proud of its composite culture with diverse beliefs and faith.
In such a mutliethnic society, there is no place for such act of intolerance and violence, the CM stated, while appealing to all to maintain and strengthen the long tradition of harmony and peaceful coexistence in the State.
