Ukhrul, Jul 9: Four zonal chairmen of Tangkhul villages sought clarification of Bhartia Infrastructure Private Limited (BIPL) on purported 'negligence and delayed' in the restoration work of NH-102A from Ukhrul to Talui (28 km).
The zonal chairmen yesterday conducted an inspection to take the stock of the ongoing NH-102A restoration work progress from Ukhrul to Tadubi (about 115 km).

Whereas the phase I, (0-28km) from Ukhrul to Talui executed by BIPL under NHIDCL has 'no progress'. Only about 6 km stretch was found constructed while the remaining stretch is yet to be initiated, he said appealing the BIPL to clarify the reasons behind the delay/poor progress.
The chairmen also appealed the NHIDCL to expedite the double lane construction at the earliest.
