Sainik School Imphal's U-14 and U-17 football teams leave Imphal for TN

August 5 to 9 at Sainik School Amaravathinagar, Tamil Nadu.
Both the teams (U-14 & U-17) qualified for the said championship after emerging as champions in the recently concluded East Zone Sainik Schools Sports & Cultural Festival Championship 2019-20 hosted by Sainik School, Imphal.
The teams who have been given intensive training under the instruction of Hav Shanta Singh, 165 TA, 57 Mtn Div were led by P Rajeshwor Singh, TGT English and Sub LM Dawnliana as team manager and coach respectively.
It may be noted that the winners (both U-14 and U-17) of the Inter Zonal Sainik Schools Football Championship will participate in the Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2019-20 to be held at New Delhi.
