MK Classic Open Intl Taekwondo C'ship:Lamsang Taekwondo Academy fetch 10 medals

IMPHAL, Aug 26 : Lams-ang Taekwondo Academy earned 10 medals including 4 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals at the MK Classic Open International Taekwondo Championship which was held at Talkotara Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from August 23 to 25.
Ayekpam Gunanda Singh (Sub-Jr Boys), L Henba Meetei (pee wee boys), Kangabam Punshiba Meitei (sub-jr boys) and Lourembam Yaiphalembi (U-32 kg girls) won the gold medals in the individual poomsae events while Yumnam Bicky Singh grabbed a silver medal in the Sub-Jr boys U-41 kg category.
The athletes of the academy who bagged bronze medals are Khaidem Wanglen (Sub-jr Boys U-24 kg), Khaidem Borish Singh (Sub-jr Boys U-38 kg), Soibam Rohitkumar Singh (Sub-jr Boys U-41 kg), Huidrom Devajit Singh (Jr Boys U-55 kg) and Naorem Chandrakala Chanu (Jr Girls U-52 kg).
Meghabarna of Pakhangba Taekwondo Academy also won a gold medal in the men's 40 years above category.
