Lamjingba NIDHI Bank opened at Jiribam

JIRIBAM, Aug 30: A Lamjingba NIDHI Limited Transforming Bank was inaugurated at Jiri Ema Keithel with Adhyaksha Jiribam Kh Janaki as the chief guest.
Director, Lamjingba Imphal, Waikhom Herojit and Director Lamjingba Imphal Mutum Byron, Director Lamjingba Imphal Salam Ashok attended the function as dignitaries as well.
Speaking at the function, Janaki said that the people of Jiribam are lucky that one of the Lamjingba Bank branches has been opened in the district.
Janaki went on to state that people should be aware the procedures of taking loan from a bank and the ramifications of borrowing money from a bank without a back up plan.
Lamjingba bank is giving loan at a small rate, the Adhyaksha said and added that this will provide great benefit to the people of Jiribam.
Meanwhile, Herojit maintained that the UBI branch in Jiribam will not give loan at such a small rate. He urged all to open account in Lamjingba bank so as to avail its benefits.
As part of the function, passbook were distributed to individuals who opened their account in Lamjingba bank.
