Rishikanta Chandam wins Imphal East title

IMPHAL,  Aug 4   Rishikanta Chandam of Lion Gym Kwakeithel has won the title of 19th Mister Imphal East  Contest 2019.
Altogether 33 contestants from 17 gyms competed in four different categories in the contest organised by Imphal East District Body Builders Association under the supervision of All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) at the community hall of Pebiya Pandit Leikai, Ningomthong.
In the senior category of the contest, Rishikanta Chandam representing Lion Gym, Kwakeithel finished on top while Yumnam Ranjoy Meetei of Super Gym Imphal and Laishram Tombisana of Pole Star Gymnasium, Kongba were placed second and third respectively.
Md Wahidur Rahaman of Super Gym, Khurai;  Gunao Luwangthem of KFC Singjamei and Khangembam Somananda Meitei of Lamyanba Gym respectively  finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in junior category. S Anand Singh of KFC, Kymgei and Sakibur Yumkhaibam of Lucky Gym managed the 4th and 5th places in the said category.
The master's category title went to Md Matibur Rahaman of KBB Khabeisoi while Laishram Modhu Singh of X Fitness Wangkhei; Yumnam Ranjoy Meetei of Super Gym, Khurai; Laishram Tombisana Singh of Pole Star Gymnasium, Kongba and Adhikarimayum Niranjoy secured the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places respectively.
Takhelambam Malemnganba Meitei (Perfect Fitness Centre, Porompat); Soibam Anand Singh (KFC Kyamgei)  and Laikhuram Sachinanda Singh (Super Gym Khurai) emerged 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the fitness competition while Akoijam Nonngdrean Khomba of Royal Gym, Ningomthongjao; Thokchom Ningthemjao Meetei of Pole Star Gymnasium, Kongba and Hefajuddin of KBB Khabeisoi claimed 4th, 5th and 6th spots respectively.     
Seram Niken Singh, Zilla Parishad, Uchekon Nongchup, Thongju AC; N Ratan Singh, president AMBBA; Nandeibam Jugindro, Member Secy, Khadi and Village Industries Board; Okram Wangkhemba , Addl SP Thoubal; Thoudam Dojendro Singh and Longjam Sunil Singh, ex-Pradhans, Torban Kshetri Leikai distributed prizes to the winners as dignitaries.
