    12-Sep-2019
IMPHAL, Sep 11: The protest launched by the All Manipur Bulk LPG Transporters Association completed its 6th day today.
As a result of the protest, the empty oil tankers and LPG bullet tank trucks, which are supposed to leave the State tomorrow along with CRPF convoy, are refusing to do so.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, a source from the association mentioned that due to the protest, the LPG bullet tank trucks will not be a part of the convoy tomorrow.
The source stated that there are around 60 bullet tank trucks which were qualified in the recent tender of IOC but are yet to be inducted and the protest has been launched demanding immediate induction of the said trucks.
As per the resolution taken during the meeting of the association on September 7, the no steering protest will continue unless the trucks are inducted, the source added.
