ST demand backed

IMPHAL, Sep 13: Student unions of GP Women's College and Wangoi Higher Secondary School, have pledged full support to the demand put forward by Scheduled Tribe Demand Committee Manipur (STDCM) for the inclusion of the Meitei/Meetei in the ST list of the Constitution.
The two student unions also announced that they will support every initiative taken up by STDCM to attain this demand.
